Which US phone numbers can I call?

Learn how KVWang checks US calling destinations, why a +1 prefix is not enough, and what to review before starting a customer call.

KVWang is designed for manual calls to approved ordinary US customer numbers. Having a phone number that starts with +1 does not, by itself, show that the destination is in the United States or that the route is available. Check the full number in your workspace before calling.

How do I check a destination?

  • Enter the customer's full number, including its country code, in the calling workspace.
  • Review the country and availability shown for that number. Do not rely on the prefix alone.
  • Use Check call cost to review the quote before the call button becomes available.
  • If the workspace marks the route unavailable, do not try to work around that result by changing the number format.

The current product is for approved ordinary US destinations. Emergency, toll-free, premium, high-cost and unsupported routes are unavailable. See calling help for other reasons a call may be unavailable.

What does the quote tell me?

The quote shows whether the call can use included plan minutes, how much extra prepaid credit may be held, and the maximum call time. Each answered call is rounded up to a whole billed minute. Unanswered calls do not consume included minutes or credit. The current pricing page has the plan amount and additional minute rate.

A quote is a pre-call check, not the final carrier settlement. After the call, review the usage and balance shown in your workspace. If a quote or final charge looks wrong, contact support with the approximate time and the displayed error; do not send payment credentials.

What should I prepare before calling?

Confirm that the customer requested or expects the call, the team is approved to call, and a business number has been assigned. Check microphone and speaker access. If your team is outside the United States, also read calling US customers from abroad because the caller's location needs separate review.

The public browser phone demo uses fictional contacts and never places a real call. Registration and access to the demo do not grant live calling permission.
